Stewart Trailers have updated their trailer range with several new models giving an even wider choice of carrying capacities and adding new features to the existing designs. The new look trailers are branded as the GX Range.
The GX Range trailers feature a new galvanised inspection ladder. The ladder is lifted and pulled out to lock into position for use at an angle away from the side of the trailer. This makes it safer and easier to use, allowing the user to gain a better foothold on the rungs.
Four leaf suspension springs are standard on trailers of 16,000kg capacity and above, in place of the monoleaf springs previously used.
A galvanised, rack and pinion grain hatch replaces the previously fitted sliding door grain hatch. The rack and pinion mechanism is more refined and is designed so that the handle locks in place to keep the grain hatch open.
The fast tow models in the new GX Range from Stewart Trailers are fitted with a load sensing valve in addition to the ABS system to enhance and refine the air braking performance.
The roll over cover design has been modified and improved for ease of use with the straps held in a protective sleeve on the side of the trailer and fastened in place when not in use.
Stewarts have introduced several new models to their range in terms of cubic capacity; this is in direct response to customer demand with people wanting to use trailers for increasingly specialised jobs, they need a trailer to suit the specific task.
